The Reflexion Full Function Mirror, developed for Robern, answers the challenge of creating an ergonomic and contemporary grooming station for the high end bathroom. Overhead or sconce lighting can create shadows and low light output that is not optimal for bathroom grooming tasks. Many fluorescent bathroom light fixtures use T8 bulb technology. Since that is a thick tubular bulb, those fixtures can tend to look bulky or mechanical and do not compliment the luxury bath space. Many bath light fixtures are not easily cleaned, and do not have an intuitive method for changing the bulb. Especially in small bath spaces, the mirror can become fogged by shower steam and an inconvenience when trying to complete you morning ritual.

Innovative use of technology and materials, ergonomic studies, and light testing drove the design for the Reflexion Mirror to provide solutions for correct color and intensity of light for grooming tasks in the bath space. The mirror is available is a several sizes to accommodate a variety of bath spaces. In order to allow for an easy solution for the consumer, the lights are set at specific distances apart to create the best aesthetic look, and the most optimal lighting scenario for the bath space. The vertical orientation of the fluorescent tubes proved in testing to be the best for task purposes, because it reduces shadows. By providing over 100 foot candles of light, and an optimal Kelvin color of 3000, they have the truest light for applying makeup, and other grooming tasks. To solve the problem of unusable steamy mirrors, a defogger is added on the back of the glass. This assures for clear viewing at all times.

Intended to inspire the consumer, Reflexion Lights provide dramatic lighting for their contemporary bath spaces. The Reflexion Full Function Mirror takes cues from modern architectural style where geometric elements intersect and appear to be floating. Following this design philosophy, the vertical frosted glass panels with mirrored front covers, enhanced by soft light, appear to be suspended in air and are barely visible from the front. The juxtaposition of glass and mirror lends a clean and simple aesthetic to the entire room and creates a light and elegant atmosphere.

Reflexion lights use low profile, high efficiency, T-5 fluorescent technology providing warm fluorescent lighting that is ideal for daily grooming tasks. The lighting meets California Title 24 Energy codes, is ETL listed, and is ADA compliant. The mirror and fixtures are easy to clean, and the bulb is changed by removing two screws without any tools needed.

Chrome and brushed nickel stanchions are available to coordinate with other bathroom fixtures and faucets. For a pure minimalist look, the mirror comes in a plain version, or for a slightly more decorative style, it is also available in a beveled version.
