I worked with the small team at Eldon Design Associates to develop concepts for parts of a stroller to be developed by the asian manufacturer Goodbaby for the American market. My designs are based our office's trend research, input from market consultants, and from collaborations with a textile designer.
The client wanted to use existing parts for the stroller frame and seat. These concepts show variations on adjustability features, have large rugged wheels, and have added decorative elements on the trays, footrests, and sidebars.
Specifically, I was responsible for designing the under-stroller basket with a spring drop-down mechanism, allowing it to hold larger volume. In addition, I designed the stroller's canopy that provides for visibility of the child, but gives maximum protection from the sun.
